Jessica Talisman has been teaching movement for more than 10 years. She graduated from Smith College with a BA in History. Jessica went on to pursue her Masters in Teaching at Lewis and Clark College in 1997. She is certified in Bikram Yoga . Jessica received her Classical Pilates certification from the Guild through Romana Kryzanowska, continued Pilates education with Power Pilates and Peak Pilates. Jessica is certified in The Gyrotonic Expansion System. Jessica has completed specialized training and certifications in the Gyrotonic Ladder with Billy Maganone, Continued Ladder training with Gyrotonic innovator Juliu Horvath, Level II Gyrotonic with Debra Rose, Jump-Stretch Board training with Kathy Van Paten ,Lower Lumbar training with German physical therapist Paul Horvath, and Gyrokenesis training.
Jessica has taught many workshops. She served as a Master Instructor at two European spas and resorts in St Lucia and Grenada for 5 years before entering into motherhood in 2004. Now a mother of two, Jessica sees her pregnancies as an education in movement and the incredible ability to change and heal the body.
Jessica opened Hall Street Yoga in Beaverton in 1999. In 2003 She sold the Yoga studio and moved the Pilates aspect of the business to SE Belmont and opened reFORM Pilates and Movement with the aim to provide more individualized and focused training with integrity. In 2008, Jessica opened studiolevity with the vision of moving into a more personalized space catering to the individual needs and goals of each client. She utilizes a combination of her years of training and unique specialized pieces of equipment not commonly found in most studio environments.
